ORGAN DONATION – THE GIFT OF LIFE

Day 1 of the 12 Days of Molesworths Christmas

Raising awareness and encouraging staff members; their families and friends; and clients to register as organ donors.

• You are more likely to need a transplant than become a donor

• Due to improvements in healthcare there are less donors but the number of people needing a transplant a rising

• All the major religions support organ donation (see organ donation website for more information from specific faith groups)

• The oldest donor recipient in the UK was 104 – receiving a cornea transport and the amazing gift of sight

At Molesworths this Christmas staff members have registered as donors and are helping to raise awareness within the community.
